Hakaba hali n'izindi universities zicililitse mu yindi mijyi (Lubumbashi, Kisangani) kimwe na za instituts specialises hilya no hino nka ENA-Kinshasa, ISP-Bukavu, za ISEA, etc. Mobutu agira atya arabisenya ngo batutse nyina mama Yemo, abibumbira mu kintu kimwe cyitwaga Universite Nationale du Zaire (UNAZA). Icyo gihindugembe cyali mu maboko ya Musenyeri Tshibangu Tshishiku kirazungazunga, kugeza aho gisandariye ubwo na Mobutu nawe yali ageze mu marembera. Nguko uko Congo yarohamye, imwe yali itwaliye urumuli ibihugu byinshi by'Afrika ihinduka indili y'umwijima, aho RPF/RDF byirwa bicana amatadowa kugeza byohereza umusore Kabarebe ngo abe chef d'etat major w'intwaramiheto zayo.
