"Campaigning is a politically fraught exercise. When Ms. Jean caught up with Chadian President Idriss Déby Itno in September, a new penal code criminalizing homosexuality had just been made public. Ms. Jean says she did not raise the issue. Nor did she address Rwanda's rights record when she met with President Paul Kagame on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly in September – only days before the U.S. expressed its "deep concern" about dozens of corpses that washed up this summer in a lake bordering Rwanda and Burundi."

[RwandaLibre] FW: {UAH} IDDI AMIN NEVER TARGETED LANGIs/ACHOLIs, THEY TARGETED HIM { ---------Series fifteen }

Dear Mulindwa, let us say humbly that you are completely wrong. Ugandans are not funny people, but very normal and ordinary human creatures adapting themselves to circumstances. None will hurt a dirty hand bringing him food actually. But after that food is eaten, if people see again that feeding hand empty,  they will recognise it very dirty, curse it; they may even hurt it until cutting.
That is what you are seeing with Obote cursed with getting single honorary degree while Museveni's honorary degrees are very appreciated. We see similar tragi-comedy being played in many East African countries Sir.

It was a topic in UAH for months as Obote never had a degree as how a honorary degree is a sign of dictatorial. Well guess what Yoweri Museveni has the following honorary degrees. {1} University of Humphrey of public affairs, United States Doctor of laws 1994 {2} Mbarara University of science and technology Uganda doctor of laws 2003 {3} Latin university of theology United States doctor of divinity 2007 {4} Faith university Turkey Honorary degree 2010 {5} Makerere University Uganda doctor of laws 2010 {6} University of Der Es Salaam Tanzania Doctor of literature 2011.
