Ce lundi 23 février 2015, les BAGUMYABANGA (membres du parti au pouvoir) se sont réunis à leur permanence nationale à Kigobe.

A l'ordre du jour figurait un seul point. Une question que les membres devaient répondre au président de la république sortant: « Vous avez le choix entre me reconduire pour un troisième mandat ou choisir NGENDAKUMANA Jérémie comme mon successeur« .

Les participants sont restés sans mots et le président du parti, NYABENDA Pascal, a due forcer le parterre à répondre à cette question du chef de l'état au moins par respect à sa fonction.

Les participants ont alors clairement exprimé que les deux n'ont pas le profil idéal pour se présenter aux élections présidentielles.

La réunion s'est clôturée en queue de poison et dorénavant il est prévu un autre congres pour designer un autre candidat. Le communiqué sanctionnant ce mini congres n'a rien à voir avec ce qui s'est dans la salle selon les participants présents.

NKURUNZIZA va t-il opérer un coup de force dans sa propre famille politique ?
