Incroyable! 

Doit-on penser maintenant que la guerre de mots va eclater entre le porte-parole de l'Eglise catholique rwandaise et celui du gouvernement rwandais? 

Quelle en serait au juste la raison de cet emballement? Y a-t-il quelqu'un qui a des interets particuliers en jeu? Demander pardon n'est-il pas une action volontaire et personnelle (par soi-meme ou par un emissaire designe) et dont la reponse est simplement accordee ou refusee eventuellement en precisant pourquoi et  modalites? Et lorsque le pardon n'est pas, on s'en refere simplement aux tribunaux qui examinent equitablement et reglent l'affaire. Et c'est tout.

Rwanda/génocide: l'Église demande pardon pour les chrétiens impliqués--TV5Monde

L'évêque a toutefois précisé qu'il s'agissait d'une demande de pardon pour des individus et non pour l’Église en tant qu'institution. "L’Église n'a pas participé au génocide", a-t-il affirmé.

Il a formulé cette précision notamment après que la ministre des Affaires étrangères Louise Mushikiwabo avait déclaré dimanche soir sur Twitter: "l’Église catholique du Rwanda s'excuse pour son rôle dans le génocide de 1994, 22 après! Mieux vaut tard que jamais!"
