After getting the news from South Africa on the death of Col. Patrick Karegeya, Ikaze Iwacu decided to start an investigation by contacting its informers within Village Urugwiro and DMI. The investigation was not to confirm that criminal Paul Kagame killed Col. Patrick Karegeya, as everyone knows that he ordered the killing. But to identify the Killing squad that went to South Africa to carry out this heinous mission.

Names of the killing squad that went to South Africa

• Appolo Ismael Kiririsi; who is a perceived friend to Karegeya.

• Brig. Gen. Faustin Kalisa; external under the president's office.

• Col. Francis Mutiganda; head of Rwanda's external and former escort to Jack Nziza.

• Maj. Matungo; an assassin from the presidential guard.

• Lt. Col. Francis Gakwerere; an external operative who is experienced at assassinations.

• Captain Tuyisenge; presidential guard and Paul Kagame's personal body guard.

• Lt. Col. Charles Shema; external and Paul Kagame's nephew.

Ikaze Iwacu hasn't come up with the above names; these names were given to Ikaze Iwacu by its informers. Readers may doubt our information; reliable informers within DMI have told Ikaze Iwacu that the above names have been holding clandestine meetings in Gikondo at a house that was formerly owned by Kabuga Felicien; top level meetings were always conducted by killer Jack Nziza and on the 20th December 2013 even Kagame personally attended this meeting at 2PM. As the meetings were always conducted in the middle of the nights.

Ikaze Iwacu informers stated "that it was unfortunately that we did not know that they were planning to kill Karegeya. Usually these meetings at this location are usually held before kidnappings on opposition members in Uganda, Kagame attending this meeting is a sign that they were aiming a high target."

This informer continued to tell Ikaze Iwacu that before the abduction of Lt. Joel Mutabazi there were also similar meetings taking place at this house in Gikondo that was formerly owned by Kabuga Felicien. Ikaze Iwacu readers should know that the operation to kidnap Lt. Joel Mutabazi was personally supervised by Killer Jack Nziza and conducted by Col. Franco Rutagengwa, Lt Col. Burabyo James and Lt. Col. Francis Gakwerere.

Who is Apollo Ismail Kiririsi?

Apollo Kiririsi is a son of the late Hadji Kiririsi; those who know this family have told Ikaze Iwacu that Appllo's father Hadji Kiririsi was a honourable man, hard working and loved by all the Muslim community in Rwanda and the region like in Burundi and in the City of Goma. The son Apollo Kiririsi is the opposite of his father, he is a conman that he even grabbed all the wealth left by his late father without sharing with his siblings.

Apollo Kiririsi is not a normal person, those who know him say that he speaks fluent Kinyarwanda, Swahili, Arabic, French, English, Russian and some Lingala and Luganda. He has lived in Egypt, Kuwait, Russia and Europe. He was also imprisoned in England for Drug trafficking. Apollo Kiririsi had also dealings with the CDD-FDD rebellion in Burundi as he was their channel of conduct for weapons and it was due to arms dealings with CDD-FDD that he was briefly imprisoned in 2002 in Rwanda.

As Gasigwa Norbert stated in his Ikaze Iwacu article that Apollo Kiririsi was also involved in human smuggling; where he transported many men and women in Europe and America. Reliable informers have told Ikaze Iwacu that between 1997 to 2002; more than 70% of people that came to Europe and America were helped by Apollo Kiririsi. As one Rwandan in Holland told Ikaze Iwacu that "My parents paid Apollo 2000 dollars to bring me to Holland through Moscow."

On this fate full day Col. Patrick Karegeya had gone to meet Apollo Kirisisi as usual, since Patrick Karegeya was always in contact with this man as one of his informers in Rwanda. As an external intelligence officer Col. Patrick Karegeya had recruited this man as his informer in the region. When Patrick Karegeya wanted to meet this man he never used to visit him with escorts as Apollo Kiririsi always wanted his meetings with Karegeya to be kept as a secret.

Why the above criminals?

Ikaze Iwacu asked its contacts in DMI why they suspect the above names to have been involved in the assassination of Patrick Karegeya. Our informers have told Ikaze Iwacu that on the 22nd December 2013, a group led by Brig. Gen. Faustin Kalisa, Maj. Matungo and Captain Tuyisenge left Rwanda a board Kenya air ways to Lilongwe and then to Mozambique. These men weren't in Kigali during Christmas period as they had travel outside Rwanda.

The second group left Rwanda on the 26th December 2013; it was led by Col. Francis Mutiganda that involved Lt. Col. Francis Gakwerere, Lt. Col. Charles Shema and Col. Francis Mutiganda. This group left Rwanda a board Ethiopian airlines to Lusaka Zambia. Ikaze Iwacu would like to remind its readers that Lt. Col. Francis Gakwerere is the person who led the attempted assassination on Gen. Kayumba Nyamwasa and the brain behind the assassination of Mzee Laurent Kabila as he was his former escort before being sent out of Congo, when Mzee Laurent Kabila told Rwandans to return to their country.

Ikaze Iwacu asked its informers why they suspected that these men and this is their reply

• This group should be suspected as the first group that composed of Brig. Gen. Faustin Kalisa, Maj. Matungo and Captain Tuyisenge travelled before Christmas, yet knowing that all of them have wives and children. During Christmas they were still out of the country.

• The second group also visiting the South African countries that was composed of Col. Francis Mutiganda, Lt. Col. Francis Gakwerere and Lt. Col. Charles Shema, was also suspicious. This group left exactly after Christmas and they lied to other DMI agents that they are going to Uganda. But we later found out that they travelled to Zambia.

• The informer said that, " We in the DMI knew that Jack Nziza was leading top secret meetings in Gikondo DMI safe house with the above killers; that even President attended; those people would not tell us otherwise if the information was leaked they would have been killed."

• The above DMI men are constantly in pubs around Kigali; but since early December we stopped seeing them in pubs as they were involved in planning for something.

• The above men know those countries in South Africa very well, they have operated before in Zambia, Malawi, Mozambique, Zimbabwe and South Africa itself.

• These are the same people that killed Theogene Turatsinze in Mozambique and that operation was personally carried out by Lt. Col. Francis Gakwerere at the orders of Paul Kagame.

• This group was large enough for technical operation and it was composed of well known Presidential hit squad.

However these informers have confirmed with Ikaze Iwacu that Apollo Ismail Kiririsi was not among the people who used to attend the Gikondo meeting.

Rwandans should know that Kagame's external intelligence uses Ugandan passports and of recently they have started using Congo Brazzaville passports and Nigerian passports obtain by the Nigerian mafias with the help of Mr Joseph Habeniza, Rwanda's ambassador to Nigeria.

The relationship between Apollo Kiririsi and Jack Nziza

Ikaze Iwacu tried to ask its informers if they know whether there is a working relationship between Apollo and criminal Jack; one of the informers told Ikaze Iwacu that initially they did not know each other, but after the release from 1930 prison Apollo Kiririsi was introduced to Jack Nziza by Sheikh Saleh Harerimana who is an internal DMI agent for Jack Nziza; and from then they would meet but, we in the DMI thought he was running business dealings with JacK Nziza as Apollo is always in Dubai.

Here in DMI we are shocked at how easy col. Karegeya was able to trust this man knowing his history as a street crook. The DMI informer continued to say that "the problem of being in intelligence work is that you become obsessed with information. Karegeya was obsessed with knowing information about Kagame and the RPF; and that was his weakness."

The informer told Ikaze Iwacu that apart from the above names no one else knew about this plan, if the National Security Personnel had known about it trust me, we would have known it. The DMI informer stated that "People like James Kabarebe, Karenzi Karake and Patrick Nyamvumba may not have known about it; it was an exclusive plan done by criminal Paul Kagame, his right hand dog Jack Nziza and the above named thugs."

Rutembesa Didier's movement in Kigali

Ikaze Iwacu readers should know that Rwanda's chief spy in South Africa was in Rwanda, where he arrived early December; going back to Rwanda is not a problem but the people he met while he was in Rwanda. Ikaze Iwacu informer in village Urugwiro has testified that Didier was a regular night visitor in village Urugwuiro.

When Paul Kagame went to South Africa to pay his last respect to Nelson Mandela; Rutembesa Didier went back with Kagame on the same plane. It is even possible that criminal Paul Kagame may have used his plane to transport poison to South Africa, since his killing thug Rutembesa was also on this plane and the dictator. These embassy staffs are the people who provide logistic support to Jack Nziza's thugs in their plans to eliminate political opponents.

The end of Apollo Kiririsi

Rwandans know how the RPF operates; they don't like any one on the outside knowing too much. Kagame has turned his guns against those who know his secrets, and it is a matter of time before criminal Kagame eliminates Apollo Kiririsi.

Conclusion

All Ikaze Iwacu informers in the Rwandan security services confirmed that this group must have entered South Africa by road through the Mozambique- South Africa road. By the time Ikaze Iwacu went to press, these men were not yet in Rwanda. Kwame Nkrumah once said that "Those who assassinate others are, because they have failed to convince them. You can kill the body but you can't kill the spirit of Ideology."

For the Kagames they think that they will convince Rwandans by using death squads and his blood money. Rwandans are registering RPF's killings and trust me, the time is soon coming for these thugs to pay up. The tragic consequences will be severe for Kagame's thugs and Rwandans know who they are!! For the RPF's criminal politician, Rwandans know who you are and you will one day pay for your crimes.

When we tell opposition leaders that the only way to remove criminal Kagame and his RPF bandits is through an armed struggle; we are usually rebuffed, called war mongers, FDLR sympathisers or haters of Rwanda. J.F. Kennedy once said that "Those who make a peaceful revolution impossible, will make a violent revolution inevitable." Dear Rwandans the time is ripe to weed out RPF and all its criminals.

R.I.P Col Patrick Karegeya and Col Mamadou Moustafa Ndala; the Abega-Tutsi- Hima empire will be defeated at all Cost.

KAGAME businessman of Rwanda Unlimited) in 2013, the brother of GAFARANGA Apollo, a certain GAFARANGA Amini, himself businessman and playboy in Kigali, has been pictured close to Rwanda president KAGAME Paul. This shows that there are close business relations between KAGAME Paul and the GAFARANGA Apollo Kiririsi Ismael family.

Johannesburg - At the time of the 1994 genocide in Rwanda a horrified

in hell and they had all gone to Rwanda.

The political legacy of that horror now appears to have moved to
greater Johannesburg, as came into focus this week with the apparent
assassination of shadowy former Rwandan spymaster ex-Colonel Patrick
Karegeya in lurid circumstances in a room in Sandton's top-end
Michelangelo Towers Hotel.

Though the one-time head of Rwandan strongman Paul Kagame's sinister
external intelligence operation was apparently strangled – a bloodied
towel and curtain cord were discovered in the hotel room's safe
together with the lifeless body on New Year's Day – detectives were
also investigating the possibility he had been drugged before the
actual commission of the murder.

While the South African government has yet to point a finger of blame
at Kagame's government and officially continues to investigate the
killing as an ordinary and not political murder, details that have
come to light around Karegeya's last hours strongly suggest a
connection with the Rwandan regime.

According to Karegeya's political associates, at the time of his death
Karegeya had been in the company of a Rwandan national, a businessman
called Appolo Kiririsi Gafaranga. A figure with a chequered history –
a poly-linguist and dealer in grey weapons, and also drug trafficker
convicted under UK law – Kiririsi had apparently convinced Karegeya of
his bona fides as a fellow conspirator against Kagame's authoritarian
rule.

Though as yet no evidence has come to light of the presence of
accomplices in the murder, Karegeya's close associate and
controversial fellow Rwandan dissident and former army chief General
Faustin Kayumba Nyamwasa has said there was evidence that "no less
than three or four men" had been present at the killing.

Rwanda has emphatically denied any involvement in the murder.

The country's high commissioner to South Africa, Vincent Karega, this
week told sister paper, The Star, it did not make sense to blame his
government for Karegeya's death.

"Why would we have waited six years?" Karega asked, referring to the
years Karegeya had stayed in South Africa.

Meanwhile allegations have surfaced in intelligence circles of a
series of high-level meetings in the area of Gikondo in Rwanda late
last year – including a briefing by Kagame himself on December 20 – at
which the assignation was apparently planned and directed. Involving a
hand-picked group of close Kagame associates, including members of his
immediate family, the claimed killing network is allegedly
co-ordinated by the head of Kagame's military intelligence, Jack
Nziza, and has been linked in the past to several kidnappings and
attempted assassinations both inside Rwanda and in other African
states, notably Kenya and Tanzania.

The dissident exile publication Ikaze Iwacu goes so far as to name the
alleged six-man hit squad dispatched from Kigali to back up Kiririsi
on his mission.

The same general network has been linked to two attempted
assassinations on Nyamwasa in South Africa in 2010. In the same year,
Karegeya – who had been living in exile in South Africa since fleeing
Rwanda in 2007 – together with Nyamwasa and two other prominent former
Kagame insiders established the Rwanda National Congress (RNC) in
Johannesburg as an opposition in exile to their former political
master.

Two men arrested in connection with the attempted assassinations will
appear in court later this month. In the wake of the attempted
assassinations and the ongoing refusal of the government to accede to
Rwandan demands that the dissidents be extradited to face Rwandan
justice after being convicted in absentia, diplomatic relations
descended to an all-time low with the recall of South Africa's
ambassador to the Great Lakes country. More recently, South Africa
emerged as a major driving force on the African stage in the
deployment under the UN banner of a peace-keeping mission in eastern
Democratic Republic of Congo with an unprecedented mandate to use
force against militants threatening stability in the region.
Especially targeted by the highly effective UN intervention force –
whose major military asset emerged as the South African Rooivalk
helicopter gunship – was the M23 rebel grouping. Though Rwanda
continues to deny any involvement in M23, observers as well as UN
analysts have consistently linked the insurgency to Kagame's
expansionist ambitions.

For its part, the Kagame administration – which, despite mounting
evidence of human rights abuses and Machiavellian intrigue, presides
over a strongly performing economy – accuses South Africa of meddling
in its internal affairs and sponsoring its enemies. The claim is
backed up by the fact that until 2011, Karegeya was under official
South African protection and quietly furnished with political asylum.
In the fallout from the 2010 assassination attempts, Nyamwasa
continues to fall under the protection of the South African security
apparatus, and no action has been taken against the RNC since its
formation.

The International Crisis Group said Karegeya's killing raised more
questions on the safety of exiled Rwandese. The group's Piers Pigou
said South Africa and Rwanda "should engage" on the attacks.

"All we hear from the Rwanda government is denials and more denials.
But there seems to be a pattern of attempts on lives of Rwandese in
exile," Pigou said.

In the meantime, the official protest against the dissident grouping
has been strengthened by reports of links between the RNC and Hutu
billionaires and other fugitive power-players linked to the Hutu
genocide of Tutsis in the 1994 horrors.

In offering shelter to the Rwandan dissidents, South Africa also
appears to be playing host to what seems a deeply sinister spook
culture. The role attributed by Kagame's critics to Jack Nziza was
pioneered by Karegeya in his position as head of Rwanda's external
intelligence – co-ordinating cross-border kidnappings and alleged
assassinations, before falling out with the Tutsi strongman in 2006
and serving an 18-month sentence in prison before his South African
exile.

In 2011, a curious report appeared in the Burundian press around the
death in Johannesburg of Rwandan singer Jean Christophe Matata on a
concert tour in Johannesburg. Though no foul play was reported at the
time, an unnamed woman said the death had followed a sequence of
events springing from a sexual triangle with Karegeya as the third
point of reference.

As she narrated it, she had revived, on a clandestine basis, a
long-standing relationship with the singer, while at the same time
offering sexual favours to Karegeya, whom she described as her "Boss"
since he paid her for sex.

Thinking her dalliance with Matata was unknown, she went to see
Karegeya, who confronted her with details of the illicit affair. He
then proceeded, she says, to say he suspected Matata had been sent as
a spy by Kagame to infiltrate his networks, and he was looking to
access evidence to this effect.

At this point, she claims, he tasked her with slipping a drug (which
he provided) into the singer's drink at their next meeting, which
would knock him out and allow for his baggage to be searched while he
slept.

This, the woman claims, she did and Karegeya's agents duly searched
Matata's effects. The plan, as she understood it, however, went awry
when the singer never recovered from the sleeping draught, finally
booking himself into hospital in Johannesburg where he breathed his
last.

Hawks spokesman, Paul Ramaloko, could not be reached for comment
yesterday. But on Friday he told the media the hunt for the killer of
Karegeya was continuing.

Ex-Rwandan spy chief killing alights allegations

LAGOS, Nigeria (AP) — The killing of Rwanda's former spy chief in
South Africa has critics revisiting serious allegations against
Western-backed President Paul Kagame that go back to the Central
African nation's 1994 genocide.

Former Col. Patrick Karegeya, a wartime ally from Kagame's days as a
rebel leader, was found dead last week in a bed in Johannesburg's
prestigious Michelangelo Towers hotel. Police said he was possibly
strangled.

Karegeya's friends and fellow dissidents accused Kagame of ordering
the assassination, pointing to a pattern of alleged killings of his
opponents at home and abroad. Karegeya fled to South Africa in 2007.

Officials in Kigali, the Rwandan capital, have not responded to
requests for comment. But the Rwandan high commissioner in South
Africa, Vincent Karega, told local broadcaster eNCA that talk of
assassination is an "emotional reaction and opportunistic way of
playing politics."

South African police say they are investigating the case but no
arrests have been made.

The killing comes five months after Karegeya claimed to have
incriminating evidence that would prove Kagame, who is lauded by
Western leaders for ending Rwanda's genocide, actually provided the
catalyst for the mass killings.

In a July interview with Radio France International, Karegeya charged
that Kagame ordered the downing of a jet that killed the Hutu
presidents of Rwanda and neighboring Burundi, the event that triggered
the genocide in which some 800,000 Tutsis and some moderate Hutus were
killed over three months.

Karegeya said on RFI that he was willing to hand his evidence to a
court in France that is investigating because the plane's pilots were
French.

A long-suppressed U.N. report published in 2010 noted that Kagame in
1994 refused to have peace talks as thousands of mainly Tutsi Rwandans
were being killed, buying the time that allowed his forces to reach
Kigali and take control.

It accused Kagame's Rwandan Patriotic Front of then going on to
massacre Hutus in Rwanda, including at Kibeho refugee camp in April
1995 before the eyes of Australian and Zambian U.N. peacekeepers, an
attack allegedly led by Karegeya.

The same report, which carried a lengthy denial from Kagame's
government, accused the Rwandan-led forces of "a possible genocide" of
Rwandan and Congolese Hutus in eastern Congo in the mid-1990s.

Rwandan experts have said the U.N. failure to publish an earlier 1994
report on RPF massacres gave Kagame a blank check to continue the
killings.

Defense lawyers at the International Criminal Tribunal for Rwanda, the
court for perpetrators of the genocide based in Tanzania, long have
contended that the court has provided "victor's justice" by ignoring
massacres by Kagame's forces.

Kagame is feted by current and former U.S. and British leaders who
point to how he has transformed an impoverished and war-ravaged nation
into an efficient technology hub with some of the highest rates for
literacy and health in Africa. That has come at the cost of a
dictatorship that ruthlessly suppresses opposition and routinely
jails, disappears and kills opponents, according to critics.

Analysts say the West panders to Kagame because of its great guilt
over not ending the Rwandan genocide. And Kagame, who blames French
troops that allowed perpetrators of the genocide to escape into Congo,
played to British and American interests in diluting French influence
in Central Africa when he changed Rwanda's official language from
French to English. That put Tutsi exiles who grew up in
English-speaking Tanzania and Uganda at a great advantage over
French-speaking Hutus. Rwanda's other official language is
Kinyarwanda.

Initial opposition to Kagame came, predictably, from members of the
Hutu tribe, but in recent years it has come increasingly from former
Tutsi allies like Karegeya and others who fear the brutal suppression
of Rwanda's majority people, the Hutu, might lead to another genocide.

About 85 percent of Rwandans are Hutu who were held in serfdom by
Tutsi royalty in the 18th century. After World War I Rwanda fell to
Belgian colonizers who entrenched divisions by ruling through the
Tutsi monarch and educating only Tutsi males. Hutus who revolted had
limbs amputated by Tutsis, on the order of the Belgians.

When independence and free elections came in 1961, they were won by
Hutus. The first Tutsi attempt to regain power came a year later, with
an invasion from Burundi. The Hutu government responded with brutal
reprisals against Tutsi civilians.

Under Kagame, Hutu politicians have been killed or jailed in Rwanda.
Journalists and judges also have been killed and imprisoned with the
most fatal year being 2010, when Kagame was re-elected in polls that
human rights activists called greatly flawed.

Kagame, who says many of his enemies deny the genocide, recently has
taken to demanding that the children of Hutus apologize for the
genocide that occurred before they were born.

"Kagame is actually blowing the country in the path of another
genocide," said former Lt. Gen. Kayumba Nyamwasa. He was Kagame's army
chief of staff until 2010 and has survived two assassination attempts
that are the subject of a South African court case and that left him
with a bullet lodged in the base of his spine.
