[haguruka.com] Rwanda referendum and the genocide fallacy

Rwandans vote on allowing third Kagame presidential term (BBC)

Rwandans are voting in a referendum on a constitutional amendment to allow President Paul Kagame to seek a third term in office.

Most voters, some 6.4 million, are eligible to vote on Friday, but around 37,000 Rwandans living overseas were able to have their say on Thursday.

The change would allow Mr Kagame to potentially remain in power until 2034.

Rwandans are expected to vote overwhelmingly in favour of changing the constitution.

comments:  The genocide fallacy:

Rwandan genocide propaganda that took place during the last 21years by  Kagame himself, scholars and the media has largely been to support Kagame's version of the events that led to genocide in order to help him stay on power indefinitely.

Kagame fought a deadly war just for power.  This  fake referendum demonstrates this. He did  not stop the genocide because he was part of it. He was not outside of it. He was involved in it.
