Nubwo igisilikare cya Uganda n'umuvugizi w'abarwanyi ba M23 bemeza ko bahunze iyo nkambi bitewe n'uko badashaka kujyanwa ku ngufu muri Congo, amakuru menshi aturuka mu karere k'ibiyaga bigari aremeza ko ibyo bisobanuro bitangwa birimo kujijisha. Abarwanyi ba M23 bari mu Rwanda no muri Uganda ubu batangiye kwikusanyiriza muri Kivu y'amajyepfo muri Congo, bakaba bashaka kuhubaka ibirindiro bikomeye bafashijwe n'igihugu cy'u Rwanda. Ibyo birindiro akaba aribyo bizakoreshwa mu kugaba ibitero ku gihugu cy'u Burundi.
Nk'uko igihugu cya Uganda cyateguye inkotanyi mu mwaka w'1990 zigatera u Rwanda, Museveni akavuga ko ari impunzi zamutorotse, iryo turufu niryo rigiye kongera gukoreshwa mu kwigarurira igihugu cy'u Burundi; Uganda n'u Rwanda bikaba bizavuga ko ntaho bihuriye n'umutekano mucye w'u Burundi na Congo, ko abarwanyi ba M23 bafite uburenganzira bwo kwirwanaho kuko bugarijwe, akaba ariyo mpamvu abo barwanyi batorotse ibihugu bayobora bagasubira mu gihugu cyabo!
